Taking Care:
A List of Wellness Prompts During COVID
It's a warm honor to serve you and guide you through the Metaphorical Terrains and Weather found in chapter two of my book, Vibrate Higher Daily: Live Your Power. As I mentioned in recent videos and posts online, we are journeying through ALL of them simultaneously right now: the storm, ocean, mountain, desert, and fog.
No matter what got us here, here we are. We are in the midst of a powerful reroute, purging, rebalancing, and initiation. Now is the time, more than ever, to take care, lean on your faith, and keep doing the work of vibrating higher daily and living your power, from wherever you find yourself. Here are prompts to help you take care during this time.
01
Home/space Vibrations
It’s highly recommended to remove your shoes upon entering your home's entryway. Wearing shoes inside not only brings in dirt and bacteria from outside, but also carries external energy that can disrupt the peaceful ambiance of your sacred space. Keeping shoes at the door will help maintain cleanliness and promote a healthy, positive environment in your home.
It’s recommended to thoroughly wash your hands by rubbing them together with soap and water on all sides for a minimum of twenty seconds. This helps to effectively eliminate any harmful germs and bacteria that may be present on your skin.
Clean door handles, switchplates, and counters top throughout the day.
Keep entryway, mats, and entry rugs well swept, rinsed, or vacuumed.
Be mindful and compassionate of how the people you are quarantined with are processing.
Keep your poise, patience, and equanimity.
Avoid sharing personal items with other people in your household or workspace.
Maintain a tidy and organized space to keep vibrations high in your home and workspace.
Let the sunshine in.
02
Body Mindfulness
Consume what strengthens your immune system daily
Help to keep cortisol levels down by managing stress and through nervous system care.
It's known that the Thieves blend is an anti-viral blend and powerful to put on the soles of feet to protect against viruses, colds, and flu. (Thieves blend is toxic to cats. So be mindful if you have cats.)
Stay alkalized. Viruses, including COVID-19, require an acidic body to thrive in. Research the alkaline food list for food to consume and avoid.
Apple Cider Vinegar alkalizes the body.
Dr. Sebi's Nutritional Guide, if you can track it down online, is basically the Alkaline Diet.
Chaga Mushrooms, Zinc, Olive Leaf, and Garlic, are anti-viral and may protect against respiratory tract infections. Zinc is known to shorten the duration of colds and symptoms.
Vitamin D3, Olive Leaf, and Garlic are each known to improve immune response
Drink warm liquids. Viruses love coldness in the respiratory system. Drink warm tea when returning home if you need to be out in public.
Gargling with warm salt water is known to kill viruses in the throat, which stops them from spreading to the rest of the respiratory system.
Stay active. Maintain physical activity/movement/exercise/dance safely and practically while self-isolating and social distancing. Exercise is supportive of both our physical and mental health. There are now heaps of different types of exercises you can do from home, thanks to YouTube and apps. Be creative with it.
Maintain good hygiene to keep vibrations high.
Create comfort with heating blankets, blankets, and comfy socks.
Monitor your symptoms carefully. If your symptoms get worse, call your healthcare provider immediately.
03
Outside Mindfulness
As much as possible, stay away from other public places.
If possible, work and school from home.
Wear disposable gloves while in public, if possible, or cover your hand with a fabric or napkin. The goal is not to make direct contact with doorknobs, handles, buttons, keypads, and such.
Don't touch your face while in public, very important. The virus can enter the body through the face, mouth, nasal passages, and eyes.
Wash hands when possible.
Use a minimum of 60% alcohol hand sanitizers.
04
Vibration Mindfulness
Find joy in ordinary life again, like when you were a child/younger person or in pre-social media.
Build a solid foundation. Lean on a daily spiritual practice to keep you anchored.
Be kind to yourself.
Process your emotions with love and warmth. Release what doesn't help you vibrate higher and come home to yourself.
Maintain good hygiene and clean and tidy home and space to keep vibrations high.
Set boundaries for how much information and news you're consuming, as not all information is helpful, supportive, or created with good intentions.
Join a virtual class, service, or course. Many online offerings are popping up everywhere right now. Teachers, studios, yogis, spiritual centers, and Universities are all making their programs and offerings online.
Do more of the things that make you feel free, alive, and like you again while at home. Find your joy and soul medicine. I've been dancing, playing my favorite songs and singing along, watching heartfelt movies, eating healing foods, enjoying family time, laughing a lot with my son and daughter, taking baths, reading, creating, lighting incense and candles, and practicing much of this list, and more.
Learn something new and helpful.
Practice gratitude for big or small things daily.
Rest and look after yourself well.
